Hoàn thiện chuỗi giá trị sản phẩm chế biến từ quả Sơn tra (táo mèo) của tỉnh Sơn La
Abstract
This paper analyzes the limitations and proposes solutions to improve the value chain of son tra (wild apple) products in Son La province, with a focus on deep processing and market distribution. Based on Porter’s value chain framework, the study identifies key bottlenecks, including the predominance of raw products, low value added, dependence on small-scale traders, limited adoption of e-commerce, and weak logistics infrastructure. Accordingly, it
proposes an integrated set of solutions: investment in deep processing, brand development through OCOP and geographical indication registration, multi-channel market expansion, logistics and infrastructure improvement, as well as policy support and inter-regional linkages to stabilize market outlets, increase income, and promote sustainable development.
