Enhancing Vietnam's Position in the Global Value Chain: Challenges and Policy Implications

Abstract

International economic integration and deep participation in global value chains are considered key strategic directions in Vietnam's economic growth process. This study focuses on analyzing the current situation and trends of Vietnam's participation in global value chains during the period 2005-2022. Simultaneously, the study identifies the challenges Vietnam is facing and proposes several policy implications to promote integration and enhance Vietnam's position within global value chains.
