The Impact of Competitive Advantage on Sustainable Supply Chain
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of supply chain competitive advantage on sustainable performance within the Vietnamese context. Using a PLS-SEM model across 114 enterprises, the research results demonstrate an uneven impact mechanism among the components. Notably, Time to Market emerges as the pivotal factor, comprehensively driving all three dimensions of sustainability (Economic, Environmental, and Social). Specifically, Delivery Dependability exerts the most significant influence on environmental performance, while Price/Cost and Product Innovation serve as the primary drivers for economic and social efficiency, respectively. The research concludes that digitalization and process standardization enable firms to optimize logistics costs while enhancing their capacity to meet sustainable manufacturing criteria.
