Factors Affecting the Competitiveness of Textile and Garment Enterprises: Theoretical Foundations and a Research Model
Abstract
In the context of deepening globalization and international economic integration, corporate competitiveness plays a crucial role in the survival and development of enterprises. Vietnamese textile and garment firms are currently facing increasingly fierce competition in the international market. This study employs literature review and theoretical analysis methods to construct a research model. The findings indicate that factors such as firm resources, management capacity, technological innovation, the level of participation in Global Value Chains (GVCs), and the institutional environment significantly influence corporate competitiveness. Based on these results, the study proposes several policy implications aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of textile and garment enterprises in the era of international economic integration.
