Abstract
This article studies the content, implementation, and consequences of violating: 1) the obligation to give consumers a reasonable amount of time to study the contract; 2) the obligation to give consumers a reasonable amount of time to respond and accept the offer. These legal obligations are imposed by law on the party that draws model contracts before signing. In addition, the article also studies practical experiences in implementing these provisions in Vietnam, France, Germany, Australia, Taiwan, and Morocco and makes some recommendations to improve provisions on model contracts.
