Some progressive points of the 2024 Law on Land: A prespective of legal relations
Abstract
Institutionalising Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated 16 June 2022 of the Party Central Committee on “Continuing to innovate and improve institutions and policies, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the management and use of land, motivating for our country to become a developed country with high income”, the National Assembly passed the 2024 Law on Land. This law has received positive evaluations since it basically resolves conflicts and overlaps between the Land Law and relevant legal documents. By presenting an overall perspective on the progression of the management and use of land, and of groups of legal relations of land, this article highlights some positive points of the 2024 Law on Land. Furthermore, to improve the legal system on land, the article makes some recommendations on some provisions that need guidance for implementation, meeting the requirements of developing healthy land legal relations in a socialist-orientated market economy.
