Implementation of the measures to promote gender equality in the field of politics

Abstract

The article provides thorough analyses of the definition and characteristics of the measures to promote gender equality in the field of politics, as well as the necessity to implement them in order to close the gender gap and promote women’s political participation. At the same time, the article analyzes the ways of implementing the measures to promote gender equality in the political field according to the provisions of existing laws in the current social conditions of our country. On that basis, the article proposes some recommendations to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of these measures to quicky decrease the gender gap in the political field, with the aim of achieving substantive gender equality.
