Promoting the role of social control for the exercise of legislative power of the National Assembly in the socialist rule of law in Vietnam nowadays

Abstract
Controlling the legislative power is one of the requirements in the development of the socialist rule of law in Vietnam, contributing to ensure the consitutionality and reasonableness of the laws enacted by the National Assembly. In this article, the authors point out that control over the legislative power of the National Assembly is performed through various activities done by the people, the Vietnam fatherland front and its member organizations, and mass media. On that basis, the authors analyze the current provisions, practical implementation and proposes some solutions to enhance the role of social control in the exercise of the legislative power of the National Assembly in the socialist rule of law in Vietnam nowadays.
