Laws and experiences on international cooperation in criminal assets recovery in a number of nations worldwide - reference lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

Due to the fact that criminal assets are often dispersed, transferred, or hidden in other jurisdictions, countries need coordination for effective solutions. Therefore, international cooperation plays an important part in the successful recovery of criminal assets. Within the scope of this article, the author introduces and anlyses the laws and experiences of some countries on international cooperation in criminal asset recovery and makes some recommendations for Vietnam.
