Abstract
In Vietnam, among environmental disputes, disputes related to water resources are common and difficult to resolve. Although legal provisions on dispute resolution related to water resources have been adjusted and supplemented over time, they have not created a full legal basis for resolving disputes. With the purpose of clarifying the theoretical issues, legal provisions, and dispute resolution practices related to water resources, the article focuses on analysing the concept, characteristics of disputes related to water resources, and legal provisions on resolving disputes related to water resources in Vietnam, thereby making some recommendations to improve legal provisions.
