Abstract
The Intellectual Property (IP) Law was approved by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2005 (amended and supplemented in 2009 and 2019) and is currently in the reviewing phase for amendment and supplementation to suit the country's socio-economic development requirements and integration trend. This article focuses on analyzing and commenting on the provisions of Vietnam's intellectual property (IP) law in comparison with several international treaties and the laws of some other countries on copyright content to point out inadequacies and shortcomings of the national law on copyright, from which recommendations for improvement can be proposed.
