Abstract
Freedom of contract is a civil right and is not an absolute right. The State can, by law, interfere with freedom of contract and thereby limit freedom of contract in order to protect other human rights. The article studies the specificity of contracts in the field of environmental protection and thereby determines the extent of State intervention using law in the freedom of contract, assesses the current situation, and proposes improvements to the current law to ensure the rationality of the State's intervention in contracts in the field of environmental protection.
