Abstract
Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW of the 6th Central Conference, Session XIII, is a very important step in concretizing the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, which emphasised the goal of continuing to improve the socialist rule of law, including judicial review mechanisms. However, there are still many conflicting ideas on the creation of a judicial review mechanism in Vietnam, both on theoretical and practical aspects. This article explains the need for the creation of a judicial review mechanism in a socialist rule of law state, proposes establishing a judicial review mechanism, and explains the compatibility of this model with the requirements of a Vietnamese socialist rule of law state.
