Abstract

The General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975, culminating in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, successfully ended the resistance war against the US to save the country, completing the cause of liberating the South and unifying the country. This was a great achievement of the strength of the great national unity, of the aspiration for independence, freedom and national unity that had been formed and tempered over thousands of years of building and defending the country and had been developed to its peak in the Ho Chi Minh era. The Great Victory of Spring 1975 had profound historical significance and epochal stature.
