Abstract
The General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975 took place with three major campaigns on land and one campaign to liberate the sea and islands areas, including the liberation of the Truong Sa archipelago and the coastal islands. The article by the author - a direct participant in the Tay Nguyen Campaign, contributes to clarifying the great victory and significance of the Tay Nguyen Campaign - a campaign that represents the pinnacle of Vietnamese military intelligence and art: the issue of choosing the direction to launch the “key strategic blow”, the point of executing the “pressure point”; the strategy of deceiving the enemy, the plan of manipulating the enemy, creating a situation of dividing the enemy, defeating the enemy with the right timing in the Tay Nguyen strategic area, creating opportunities for the victory of the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975.
