Abstract

The victory of the resistance war against American imperialism for national salvation was determined by many factors, among which a very important factor was the sharp strategic direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and military commanders at all levels. That strategic direction was highly promoted in the General offensive and uprising in the Spring of 1975, from determining the right time, seizing the opportunity to the resolute and flexible direction of the Party committee and military commanders at all levels, attacking the enemy by surprise, at lightning speed, and winning. This was the success of the Party in directing the end of the resistance war against American imperialism for national salvation.
