Revolutionary press in Da Nang city (1930-1975)

Abstract

The Vietnamese revolutionary press is a component of the Party’s cultural and ideological work, a sharp tool for promoting the Party’s directives and guidelines, the State’s policies and laws; and it also serves as a tool for expressing the aspirations and urgent needs of the people. Fulfilling its mission is also the way for the press to fulfilling social responsibility. From its earliest appearance, revolutionary press played an important role in the struggle for national liberation in Da Nang, acting as a sharp weapon on the ideological front, inspiring the fighting spirit of soldiers and people of Da Nang, spreading patriotic spirit, and calling for unity in the fight for national independence.
