Ho Chi Minh - The creator of a new educational system

Abstract

Right after gaining independence (September 1945), the Democratic Republic of Vietnam faced numerous serious difficulties and challenges. In that context, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed that: Education was one of the top priorities; education is not only a fundamental human right, but also the cultural and political foundation of the nation. Education serves as a pillar for safeguarding independence, rebuilding the country, and promoting the people’s right to mastership. This article analyzes Ho Chi Minh’s perspective on education during the 1945-1946 period, highlighting the value and strategic vision of his approach to education and training in ensuring the endurance and sustainable development of Vietnam.
