The Party’s leadership in developing Vietnam’s digital economy today

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution marks a breakthrough in the use of data and technology across all aspects of social life. The trend of digitalizing the economy and social activities is growing rapidly in most countries around the world. The digital economy has become a vital component, contributing increasingly to the total product of countries. The Communist Party and the State of Vietnam have issued many guidelines and policies to promote the development of the digital economy. This article focuses on analyzing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on digital economic development in Vietnam, as well as the results achieved.
