Ho Chi Minh’s school of diplomacy in Vietnam’s foreign policy

Abstract

Regarding international relations, foreign policy and diplomacy, President Ho Chi Minh left a precious legacy encompassing distinctive, effective diplomatic thought, diplomatic style, and diplomatic practice. His approach embodied the revolutionary essence of proletarian diplomacy, deeply rooted in national identity while embracing the diplomatic wisdom of nations across the globe. These elements combined to form the “Ho Chi Minh’s school of diplomacy” which laid the foundation for Vietnamese diplomacy during the Ho Chi Minh era. This legacy is inherited and developed by the entire Party and nation, retaining its enduring and sustainable values.
