Ensuring and maintaining economic independence and autonomy in the nation’s new era of development

Abstract

Building an independent and autonomous economy while promoting comprehensive and extensive international integration is among the ten major relationships identified by the Communist Party of Vietnam as essential in the process of building socialism. The article clarifies achievements and challenges, thereby proposes solutions to strengthen Vietnam’s independent and autonomous economy in this new era of national development.
