This study aims to improve writing skills for 6th grade students. The study applies mind maps in pre-writing and post-writing in order to help students have clear, coherent, meaningful writing orientation... The research was conducted for 3 months during the 2023 - 2024 school year at Middle School
Research results showed that, after 3 months of applying mind maps in teaching writing skills, more than 90% of students have positive and very positive attitudes towards activities in writing lessons; and more than 90% of students said that their writing ability improved.
