Abstract

Scientific research capacity is one of the many important capacities, serving as the basis for developing general capacity and natural inquiry capacity from a Chemical perspective for high school students. STEM-based teaching in Chemistry with the orientation of developing scientific research capacity for students is currently limited. This article aims to present the results of research on applying the topic of STEM teaching in Chemistry towards developing scientific research capacity for students, including: proposing requirements and content as well as designing teaching and learning activities that are STEM-linked in the view of developing scientific research capacity for students.
