Solutions to develop the Civic Education teacher training program to meet the requirements of general education innovation at Tay Bac University

Abstract

Renovating general education towards modernization is an important content in Resolution 29 - NQ/TW of the XI Central Executive Committee on “Fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training. Meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of socialist-oriented market economy and international integration”. The resolution affirms: “For high school education, focus on intellectual, physical development, quality formation, civic capacity, talent discorery and fostering, career orientation for students. Improve the quality of comperehensive education, focus on ideal education, traditions, ethics, lifestyle, foreign languages, information technology, competence and pactical skills, apply knpwledge into practice. Develop creativity, self - study, and encourage lifelong learning.
