Measures to improve self-study skills for students majoring in Education, Bac Lieu University

Abstract

Development of self-learning ability is a goal forwarding the renovation of teaching and learning methodology set by universities nowadays. The student self-learning plays an important role, being direct factor that enhance training quality of the university. Apart from that, the self-learning help improve student intelligence in receiving and comprehending new knowledge, equip students with independent and creative thinking, with ways of problem solving. The self-learning also makes contribution to creation of dynamic, independent students meeting requirements of industrialization and modernization course. The article presents some basic concepts on self-learning skills and proposes several solutions to the development of self-learning skills for students in the School of Education, Bac Lieu University.
