Students' interest in studying English subject of Phenikaa university

Abstract

Through the main research method of writing survey, the article conducts research on 235 students of Phenikaa university to find out the current state of their interest in stuyding English subject. This study shows that the actual situation of Students’ interest in studying English subject of Phenikaa university are at high level, in which, the cognitive aspect of student’s interest in studying English subject. is higher than that of the attitude and the behavior. The factors “Position and role of the English suject in the training program”, “English lecturer’s teaching method”, “Students’ need to learn the English suject” have the most influence to students’ interest in learning English suject.
