Developing students’ ability to apply learned knowledge and skills in teaching the topic of Earth and Sky in 2nd grade Natural and Social Sciences

Abstract

The general education program in Nature and Society aims to form and develop scientific capacity for students. In order to acquire this ability, under the guidance of teachers, students are able to form competencies from the ability to understand the natural environment and the surrounding society to the ability to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned. In order to help students develop the ability to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned and towards improving the quality of teaching subjects, the article has proposed a process to organize students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in teaching the topic “Earth and Sky” in Nature and Society in grade 2; At the same time, the article has also selected and designed a set of exercises to develop this ability for students after the lesson. Expand research on measures to develop the capacity to apply learned knowledge and skills in teaching other subjects or educational activities outside the classroom.
