Abstract
To teach Vietnamese as a second language to the ethnic minority students, suitable materials should be fully selected and designed. Also, the development of materials to teach Vietnamese as a second language to the ethnic minority students in the mountainous areas requires a comprehensive and flexible approach. By combining thorough research, detailed curriculum design, developing appropriate materials, and adopting effective teaching methods, we can help ethnic minority students acquire and use Vietnamese with confidence and proficiency.
