Applying case study teaching method in teaching the Management Accounting module at An Giang Vocational College

Abstract

Case study method in teaching is an interesting and highly practical teaching method. The use of the case method in teaching Management Accountants module at An Giang Vocational College is still limited and not really effective. The article has outlined the basics of the concept of the case method, the requirements when compiling the case as well as the process of using the teaching case and applying it to the Management Accountants module to improve the learning process, effective teaching of this subject. Besides, applying case study method in teaching Management Accountants module helps students in developing independent thinking skill, group work skill, and presentation.
