Preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity in teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought

Abstract

Vietnamese national cultural identity is a priceless asset, a symbol of existence, a bridge between the past, present and future of the nation, the soul of the Vietnamese nation forged through round after round of building and defending the country with many efforts for advancement throughout history. Vietnam’s cultural identity is written with the blood and tears of many generations of people and the entire nation. Developing a progressive culture rich in national identity, as well as applying Ho Chi Minh Thought in preserving and promoting cultural identity, especially in the current period, has become a matter of survival and is the responsibility of every citizen and the entire Vietnamese nation.
