Improving the quality of extracurricular activities in Defense and Security Education for students at Vinh University of Technology Education

Abstract

Extracurricular activities in the subject of National Defense and Security Education (NDSE) are crucial for helping students develop their thinking, physical and intellectual abilities, and applying the national defense and security knowledge they have learned into practice. These activities also encourage students to maintain a positive attitude towards their studies and training. Through NDSE extracurricular activities, students are provided with additional knowledge and skills that are not covered in the regular curriculum, and they have the opportunity to cultivate positive attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyles. This, in turn, enhances their patriotism and readiness to contribute to the cause of building and defending the nation.
