Research and selection of exercises to develop badminton physical fitness for male students of the People’s Security Academy
Abstract
The study selected 13 exercises to help improve the physical strength of male students at the People’s Security Academy studying Badminton, which are the following exercises: Moving across the single court, moving forward and backward, running up stairs at high frequency, running 400m, cross-jump exercises, single rope jumping exercises, running with a combination of forward, backward, backward suddenly changing direction forward, relay running and zigzag running, running with a back pedal in a straight line, lying on the stomach doing push-ups, throwing the badminton ball far, sitting with the body bent forward with the arms. Through a 3-month experiment studying Badminton, the experimental group using the exercises selected by the study showed superiority in general physical strength compared to the control group at p<0.01→0.05 and specialized physical strength at p<0.001→0.01.
