Improve the effectiveness of local traditional cultural education for high school students in Da Nang city

Abstract

In the current trend of development, students are exposed to a lot of new cultural knowledge. however, they usually have lack of opportunity to direct contact with the traditional culture of their nation and locality which can be a huge disadvantage for them, leading to the gradual fading of local traditional culture. Traditional culture today is easily influenced by excessive integration, the uncontrolled development of social media, and generational factors. These are some of the reasons that affect the education of traditional culture in schools. Therefore, innovations in the education of local traditional culture that meet the requirements of the 2018 general education program and the needs of Gen Z generation in the context of strong integration and development in the digital age are extremely necessary.
