Abstract

Respiratory infectious diseases have a high incidence and mortality rate among children, especially those under 5 years old. Teachers and parents of students at Lien Co Kindergarten have a good understanding of the role and measures to take when children show signs of respiratory infectious diseases. The Lien Co Kindergarten has implemented many measures to prevent respiratory diseases in preschool children, such as: Develop a plan for the prevention and control of respiratory diseases; Build a balanced diet and engage in physical exercise to provide appropriate nutrition and boost immunity. Coordinate with local health authorities; Propaganda for parents; Socialization in promoting awareness and consciousness among parents of students and the entire society about respiratory diseases; Print and paste posters and flyers distributed or displayed on campus about respiratory diseases in children. Guide children to perform exercises on personal hygiene and skills to protect themselves from individuals showing symptoms of respiratory illness. Most measures are assessed as effective.
