Abstract

Remote sensing images play a crucial role in the field of Technical Surveying and Mapping, helping to improve the accuracy and efficiency in the collection and processing of spatial data. Specific applications of remote sensing images in this field include: spatial data collection, map and geographic data updating, map calibration and optimization, terrain analysis and modeling, land use management and planning, disaster detection and monitoring, etc. This article provides an overview of the technology for collecting and processing remote sensing image data in the field of geodesy and cartography. From there, it evaluates the role of training human resources in the field of geodesy and cartography in collecting and processing remote sensing images to serve the activities of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
