Abstract

Patterns play an important role in graphic design, especially in calendar design, as they provide aesthetic value while reflecting the unique characteristics of Vietnamese culture. The presence of patterns in calendars not only enhances artistic value but also contributes to the preservation and transmission of national cultural identity. Currently, throughout the country, many universities and training centers focus on applied arts, with graphic design being one of the core fields. Therefore, research on patterns and creative practice in calendar design is essential to help students understand the values of both traditional and modern cultures.
