Research on Modal Elements in Che Lan Vien’s poetry to serve to teach Vietnamese studies at Ton Duc Thang University

Abstract

Surveying and analyzing modal elements in three representative poetry collections by the poet Che Lan Viên reveal the deliberate selection of language to achieve aesthetic expression and convey artistic thought in the works of this prominent figure in modern Vietnamese literature. Through a linguistic analysis of his poetry, the study aims to elucidate the evolution of Che Lan Vien’s poetic sensibility and his distinctive creative style.
