Abstract

For students majoring in Early Childhood Education, expressive reading and storytelling skills are extremely important skills, contributing to the effectiveness of organizing activities for children to get acquainted with literature in particular and develop language in general in preschools. Teaching practice shows that students’ expressive reading and storytelling skills are still limited. The article is based on analyzing basic theoretical issues to propose some measures to train expressive reading and storytelling skills in the process of teaching the Children’s Literature and expressive reading and storytelling subjects at Nam Dinh Pedagogical College; contributing to the goal of developing professional capacity for students majoring in Early Childhood Education.
