In the context of the rapidly developing maritime industry, which demands professionals capable of solving problems quickly and effectively, enhancing students’ analytical thinking has become a critical task [1]. Calculus not only provides fundamental mathematical knowledge but also helps students develop essential skills such as analysis, synthesis, and logical reasoning. This article focuses on the case-based teaching method in Calculus to foster analytical thinking for maritime students, thereby equipping them with essential skills for their studies and future professional practice [3].
