Abstract

Good pronunciation plays a crucial role in learning English effectively, which makes communiction successful and helps English learnesr to have more confidence and better cultural integration with the native speakers. Nevetheless, the majority of the students at Bac Lieu University are restricted in their speaking skill, the main reason of which is the students’ pronunciation capacity. This article mentions some difficulties affecting students’ pronunciation, specially pronouncing /θ/ and /ð/. Accordingly, it indicates some teaching techniques to contribute to improving students’ pronunciation of /θ/ and /ð/.
