PROPOSE SOME FRENCH LITERATURE TEXTS FOR EXTENDED READING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract
Determining the research object as French literary texts used in high school curriculum and
textbooks, we mainly use the method of document research and questionnaire survey to determine the
theoretical and practical basis for selecting additional literary texts. From there, we propose a list of
extended reading literary texts for high school students, testing the urgency and feasibility of the proposals
to improve the effectiveness of training students’ reading skills.
