Abstract
Determining the research object as teaching reading comprehension of the informational text
Floating Market - The cultural feature of the water of the Western region in the textbook Literature 10
(Volume 1, Creative Horizon book series), we mainly use the method of document research and questionnaire
investigation to determine the theoretical and practical basis of teaching reading comprehension of this
text in particular and the type of informational text in high school. From there, we propose directions for
exploiting and testing the urgency and feasibility of implementing lessons to improve the effectiveness of
teaching reading comprehension of informational texts in high schools according to genre characteristics.
