Abstract
Teaching modern Chinese vocabulary requires good and innovative methods to help learners
easily grasp the lesson’s objectives. The smooth coordination of teaching skills will increase the
effectiveness of the lecture. This article has introduced the typology method when teaching vocabulary
to students learning Chinese at the elementary level. This method is believed to support Chinese
language teachers to have more ways appropriate to their level and teaching subjects
