LINKING INTERESTS BETWEEN LECTURERS AND SCHOOLS: CASE STUDY OF SAIGON UNIVERSITY
Keywords:
Saigon University, Continuance commitment, Lecturers
Abstract
Continuance commitment is one of the three manifestations of lecturers’ organizational
commitment to the university. The continuance commitment of lecturers at Saigon University is
approached from two aspects: material benefits and psychological benefits. The research results indicate
that lecturers are more committed to the university for psychological benefits than material ones. These
findings provide a scientific basis for proposals related to policies and systems aimed at maintaining and
developing the university’s teaching staff.
