DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN SCHOOL GOVERNANCE - AN INEVITABLE TREND TO ENHANCE EDUCATION QUALITY

Abstract

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation has become an
inevitable trend in all sectors, including education and training. This paper analyzes the concept and
orientation of the Communist Party and the Government of Vietnam regarding digital transformation
in education; clarifies key areas such as management and administration, teaching and learning,
parent–school connection, and data-driven decision-making. At the same time, the paper highlights the
outstanding benefits of digital transformation in school governance, the existing challenges—particularly
in mountainous areas—and proposes several solutions to ensure effective and sustainable implementation.
