Abstract
Project-based learning is a teaching method where students, under the guidance and organization
of teachers, collaborate to undertake complex learning tasks that integrate both theoretical knowledge and
practical application, resulting in the creation of learning products. Organizing project-based learning
provides students with opportunities to practice and apply the skills and knowledge they have learned
to solve real-world problems, thereby developing competencies and qualities that align with the current
learner-centered teaching approach. In this article, the author presents some theoretical issues related
to project-based learning, the mathematical problem-solving skills of 4th-grade students, and proposes a
process for organizing project-based learning aimed at developing mathematical problem-solving skills
for students, as well as suggesting some projects for teaching 4th-grade mathematics
