Abstract
In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Internet of Things (IoT) has been
widely applied across various fields, particularly in smart agriculture. This paper presents the design,
development, and experimental implementation of an IoT-based monitoring and control system for a smart
greenhouse model at Vinh University of Technical Education. The system integrates IoT sensors to collect
real-time data on temperature and humidity, and automatically activates control devices to maintain
optimal conditions for crop growth. Experimental results demonstrate that the system operates reliably,
is easy to use, cost-effective, and highly scalable. Beyond its significance for teaching and research in
automation engineering, the proposed solution also reveals strong potential for commercialization and
startup initiatives in high-tech agriculture, thereby contributing to the promotion of scientific research,
innovation, and the modernization of Vietnamese agriculture
