Abstract
Cooperation skills represent a foundational socio-emotional competency that plays a crucial
role in the personality development of young children. At the age of 3 – 4, children begin to form an
emerging awareness of themselves and of their peers; therefore, early intervention to foster cooperation
is particularly significant. Art activities offer an experiential learning environment that stimulates
communication and encourages children to work together toward shared goals. This article presents the
theoretical basis, practical context, and experimental outcomes of several measures for organizing art
activities aimed at enhancing cooperation skills among 3 – 4-year-old preschool children. The findings
indicate that implementing small-group art activities, promoting communication–support–sharing,
designing open learning environments, and assigning collaborative tasks contribute notably to the
improvement of children’s cooperative behaviors in early childhood education settings
