Abstract

This paper analyzes the characteristics of ancestor worship among the Muong people and
examines the current situation of teaching the course “Fundamentals of Vietnamese Culture” to Early
Childhood Education students at Hoa Binh College of Education. Based on the findings, several
pedagogical measures are proposed to help students explore and apply knowledge of ancestor worship
traditions in their learning and future professional practice. The results contribute to improving the
teaching quality of the course while fostering cultural awareness and professional competence among
students
