Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the cultural values in Ho Chi Minh’s thought on building the
new person and clarifying its significance for educating the personality of Vietnamese youth today—
in a context of increasing pragmatism, value crises, and the complex impacts of the market economy,
globalization, and digital transformation. Based on systematizing his viewpoints that culture is the
spiritual foundation of society, as well as the goal and driving force of development, the article identifies
the core values of the new socialist person. From that, the article proposes several solutions. From there,
the article proposes a number of solutions to spread Ho Chi Minh’s cultural values to young people
